Par-tee time! School holidays are a hit at Fremantle Public Golf Course

Fremantle Public Golf Course have demonstrated their commitment to fostering the talent of the next generation of golfers by hosting two junior golf clinics over the school holidays, run by PGA certified golf professional Charlton (Charlie) Knoll.
The junior clinics were a series of golf training sessions for younger players, offering skill development for all levels, and a fun and supportive environment to learn and improve techniques such as swinging, putting and overall gameplay.
“It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm and growth from all our young players,” said Keenan Baatjes, Venue Manager at Fremantle Public Golf Course.
“Programs like these are all about sparking a passion for golf while giving juniors the skills and confidence to improve every time they step on the course,” Charlie Knoll, PGA Golf Instructor added.
The first program was a three-day camp, offering a full-day experience from 9am to 3pm. Each day was packed with focused coaching across all areas of the game. The high-energy learning sessions were a great success, with noticeable progress seen by all participants.
The second program was a half-day clinic, designed especially for kids who are new to the game. A game-based format was used to keep things light and engaging, while still covering all the fundamentals. Many of the juniors expressed interest in continuing with private lessons following the clinic.
